Once upon a time, there was a tiny seed. It lay nestled amongst the soft, brown earth, dreaming of sunshine and rain. “I want to grow tall and strong,” the seed whispered to itself. “I want to touch the sky!”
But the seed was very small. It was afraid of the dark, the cold, and the grumpy mole who lived nearby. “What if I get eaten?” the seed worried. “What if I never see the sun?”
One day, a warm raindrop landed on the seed. “Don’t worry, little seed,” the raindrop chuckled. “I will help you grow!” And with that, the raindrop gently soaked into the earth, giving the seed a big drink.
Soon, the sun peeked through the clouds, smiling down on the seed. “Hello, little seed!” the sun beamed. “I will warm you and help you sprout.” And so, the seed began to change. It pushed its way through the soil, reaching for the light.
At first, it was just a tiny shoot, but it grew stronger every day. The mole, who had been watching from his burrow, was surprised. “Wow,” he mumbled, “that little seed is quite the adventurer!”
The shoot grew taller and taller, reaching for the blue sky. It unfurled its first leaves, shimmering in the sunlight. Birds sang cheerful songs as they flew past, and butterflies fluttered around its colorful blooms.
The tiny seed, now a beautiful flower, swayed gently in the breeze. It had grown tall and strong, just as it had dreamed. And every day, it looked up at the sky, grateful for the rain, the sun, and the kind words of the mole.
