Once upon a time, in a sky full of twinkling stars, there was one tiny star named Luma. Luma wasn’t the biggest or the brightest star, but she had the biggest heart. Every night, she shined as hard as she could, hoping someone on Earth would see her light.

But Luma had a secret—she was afraid of the dark parts of the sky. Out there, far away from her starry friends, the sky was deep and endless, and it made her shiver just thinking about it.

One evening, the Moon called out, “Stars, I need someone to light up the darkest corner of the sky tonight. Who will go?”

All the big stars stayed quiet. They didn’t want to leave their cozy spots. Luma’s little light flickered nervously. “I… I’ll go!” she said in a tiny voice.

The Moon smiled kindly. “Thank you, brave little Luma. Remember, even the smallest light can shine bright in the dark.”

Luma took a deep breath and zoomed across the sky, leaving a sparkling trail behind her. The farther she went, the darker it became. The sky felt cold and quiet, and Luma started to feel very small and very scared.

But then, she spotted something down below—a little girl sitting by her bedroom window, looking sad. She hugged her teddy bear tightly and whispered, “I wish I had a light to keep me company.”

Luma’s heart swelled with courage. That’s why I’m here! she thought.

She shone her light as brightly as she could, casting a soft glow on the little girl’s face. The girl looked up, her eyes wide with wonder. “Wow! Look at that little star! It’s like it’s shining just for me!”

Luma beamed with happiness. Her light danced and twinkled, filling the dark corner of the sky with warmth.

Soon, other stars noticed Luma’s bravery and began to drift closer, filling the dark sky with sparkling lights. The corner wasn’t scary anymore—it was beautiful.

When Luma returned to her spot next to the Moon, the other stars cheered. “Hooray for Luma, the bravest little star!”

The Moon smiled proudly. “You see, Luma, even the smallest light can make the biggest difference.”

From that night on, Luma wasn’t afraid of the dark anymore. She knew that her light, no matter how small, could bring warmth, comfort, and courage to anyone who needed it.

And every night, if you look closely, you might just spot Luma, the brave little star, twinkling brightly in the sky—just for you.
